I've been writing to you for a while, but I thought I'd take a moment to introduce myself to you. My name is Patricia Irby and I am the director of Musical Ambassadors of Peace.

When I first met our beloved founding father, Cameron Powers, I recognized a kindred spirit. We shared a passion for perfect harmony and for healing the world’s soul with music. It was only natural that I would join the Musical Ambassador team. 

I served on the board for five years and had the pleasure of helping the organization grow into what it is today. When Cameron left us this past February for the great dance hall in the sky, it soon became clear that someone needed to take the wheel, so I did, wholeheartedly.

I love this organization. I love its people, its projects and most of all its mission. I have profound personal experience with the transformative power of music. I’ve felt the deep, unifying connection that is created through singing, drumming and dancing in community. I know first-hand how it builds bridges and changes lives.

The legacy Cameron left is tremendous. Our projects currently reach Gaza, Uganda, Tijuana, Mexicali, San Diego, and the list is growing. I am honored to not only carry this legacy forward, but to ensure that it continues to bloom, to blossom, to reach every corner of the world with beautiful, musical healing love.
