This video is sure to warm your heart and make your day! It is one of our favorites! It is a video of children dancing in joyful synchrony. It is amazing to remember that these children were once soldiers.

These Congolese children were abducted by rebels, brainwashed and forced to become killers before they even reached adolescence. Pretty traumatizing for a developing child. Thankfully, they were rescued and are now living in refugee camps in Uganda, getting their wounded souls healed by musical experiences. 

Dancing In Nakivale - 

"This is a gathering comprised of six newly freed child soliders from Nakivale dancing with four fully rehabilitated children from Rwamwanja. I brought the four children from Rwamwanja refugee camp to Nakivale to encourage other traumatized refugee children to join us. This helps the newcomers to learn from the rehabilitated Rwamwanja children. It also acts as a trauma healing session for them. We later had discussions on how we can reduce their hostility toward fellow humans and we are seeing results gradually. We are working to rehabilitate them into children again."
